Garden Fountain

A garden fountain may come in any of a wide range of styles. For some, the ideal set-up is to have a large and dramatic fountain placed in an attention getting area. Other people may desire for such a purchase to operate less as a focal point and more as a decorative accent which accentuates other elements of the scene.

It is possible for a garden fountain to be fully integrated into a pond or landscape. Others are standalone and may even be easily transported. The standalone styles will often take into account sculptural aesthetics. The features which have been incorporated into the garden will generally have less of these emphases.

A garden fountain may have much more to offer than just decorative use. For instance, some are designed to supply drinking water for birds or other animals. Within a pond, the flow can serve to aerate water for healthier fish or aquatic life. In other applications, the fountain may serve to provide a more humid environment for certain plant species.
